Since January 1, 2019, there is a new Packaging Act (VerpackG), which replaces the previous Packaging Ordinance. This law regulates how packaging must be handled when it is disposed of as waste by private end consumers.

Manufacturers and distributors who use such packaging must ensure that it is properly licensed. This means that you must either acquire a license yourself from an approved provider in the "dual system" or delegate the licensing to your upstream distributor, for example us.

Our suppliers and manufacturers already work with an approved system operator to meet the legal requirements. If you commission us to license the packaging, we will also take on the legal obligation to report the data to the central authority. The associated costs will be noted on your invoice.

Please note that we are unable to issue retroactive licensing. It is therefore important to obtain licensing in good time in order to comply with legal requirements.
